Zhenming Feng graduated from Tsinghua University and served successively as Chief of Department of Scientific Research, Chairman of Radar Group of Department of Electronic Engineering, Vice Chairman of Department of Electronic Engineering, and Party Secretary of Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University.

He has devoted himself to teaching and researching in the field of radar signal processing, broadband access network, and satellite navigation with more than 80 papers published. His scientific research helped to achieve the first outside interactive data broadcasting system based on the cable TV network in China. He also presided over the research and development of user equipment used in the first and second generations of the BeiDou civil satellite navigation system.
